When Is Black Friday 2022?
As it always follows the American holiday of Thanksgiving, Black Friday this year will fall on November 25, 2022 and run across the weekend (November 26-27) until Cyber Monday (which sees retailers bring discounts down even further) on November 28, 2022.
In recent years, the Black Friday sales have become a much bigger fanfare than the traditional Boxing Day sales you visited with your family as a child. Not only are the Black Friday sales the best way to find a bargain ahead of Christmas, but they can result in huge savings across the year, especially if you have an event like a wedding coming up and want to save cash wherever possible. After all, once brides have spent money on their wedding venue and wedding photographer, every little helps when it comes to affording everything else, right?
What Are The Best Black Friday Wedding Deals?
Unsurprisingly, most UK retailers like to keep shtum ahead of the Black Friday sales and don’t reveal their discount plans until the weeks - and sometimes days - leading up to the big day. However, a quick look at previous years of Black Friday sales gives us a pretty good idea as to what level of discounts brands and retailers are likely to put in place this year.
Better yet, some eComm websites have been known to slash prices days before Black Friday, so it’s worth keeping an eye out on your favourite sites just in case they drop discounts earlier than expected. In addition, some are already inviting customers to sign up to exclusive offers, earlybird deals and newsletters to help put them in a better position when it comes to finding the perfect item before it sells out.

Coast is one of the most popular brands for brides in the lead up to their big day, and for good reason. Reformation's Black Friday sale has always been one of our favourites here at ELLE UK. Last year, everything on Reformation's site was marked down by 25% from Friday November 25 to Monday 29 November, including items loved by the likes of Kaia Gerber and Emily Ratajkowski.
