Bryan Danielson seemingly suffered an injury on the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, and Tony Khan provided an update.
Danielson competed in the main event on Wednesday night, as he and Claudio Castagnoli faced AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy and Kazuchika Okada. Near the end of the match, Castagnoli nailed Danielson with an Orange Punch. Okada then dropped “The American Dragon” with the Rainmaker.
Castagnoli won the match for his team by hitting Cassidy with a pop-up European uppercut. Following the conclusion of the bout, Danielson clutched his jaw, and medical officials checked on him.
Tony Khan then took to social media and noted that Danielson walked to the back under his own power.
